Shadow's back, and badder than ever. But as much as i love saying that, "Bad" can describe most of the game.

You are Sonic's unlikely ally and arch rival, Shadow, in this game set to find out the truth of his existance.

Playing through these levels ive noticed some good things about the game, the graphics look very Sonic Heroes-ish and look really slick on the GameCube (probably the best version of the current-gen consoles). The controls have stayed true to past Sonic GC Games, and work well for those who already have a knack for the Sonic 3D games.

The bads though clearly overtake the good. The camera in this game is just horrible. I in the past have defended the camera system in past games and let it slide somewhat, but in this game, they have made the camera worse and its just downright annoying sometimes.
There is always someone following you, whether its this stupid spider looking dark thing, or a Sonic friend. The problem? .. They wont shut up! They just keep talking, it got real annoying when Charmy was following Shadow around, and the way both "followers" talk to you is just stupid when it comes to someone who just wants to play. You are focused so much into trying not to get yourself killed at times, that you miss some important info during the stage.
The enemies and allies are not your friends, whether you are siding with the aliens or the humans, they will shoot you. If the good guys are following you "Hey! stop attacking the good guys!" and if that alien guy is following you "Why are you attacking my soldiers, You traitor!". it just gets really repetitive when you just want to finish the level and not put up with their voices.
Speaking of voices, they are horrible aswell. They are the same cast voices as Sonic X series on 4KidsTV on Fox... enough said.

This was a game that had a lot going for it, yet it turned out to be a big disappointment to a hardcore Sonic fan like me. Yes, i will get the game because the good points have to be the story and the controls. But i'm waiting for a price drop. I would not pay $50 for this game.

JC Says: If you are a Sonic fan, go ahead and get the game, but i strongly suggest you wait till it drops price
